Friends, Family, Fans and metalheads,
We sadly inform you that Jeremy Hall has decided to step out of the band for personal reasons. This has come as a shock to all of us. Read Jer's statement below:
"Hey Mirrorites!
I want to take a moment to thank all of you, fans & friends, for the last 8 months. Today I made the decision to step out of the band. The last 21 Dark Mirror shows have meant a lot to me and I hope you enjoyed them too. I met a lot of great people being a part of this for a short while. I'm truly sadde...ned to see it end. I wish the guys all the best as they continue their journey.
In metal,
Jer"
The band is already looking at a candidate to take over as the 2nd axeman in the fold. More updates to come soon. You might catch the band performing again as a four piece but not for long.
The band would like to thank Jeremy for his dedication, heart and all the time he put into this project.
You can continue supporting the band clicking on the donate button below! Milwaukee, HERE we come!
Dark Mirror could use your help!
We have been given a great opportunity! We were asked to be an opening band for none other than the mighty German metal band PRIMAL FEAR!
Playing this show will certainly help spread the word of Dark Mirror to another Midwest state. There are 2 ways you can help us accomplish this:
1. If you are planning to attend this show, 5/29 at the Rave in Milwaukee WI, please buy your ticket from us. The ticket is $20. This is a $5 discount less than buying it at the venue and $10 off if you buy it through Ticketmaster.
2. If you are not attending this show and would like to assist us in turning this opportunity into reality please click the PayPal link below and help out in anyway you can. Help fill our gas tank!. We've got nearly 1500 miles of driving to do!
We've received a few donations already, thank you friends!!!!! Every little bit helps. This isn't a show where we will make any money, its about exposure. We're gonna expose ourselves in Milwaukee!!!!!! And we can sure use some help.
Until next time, stay true!

Greeting fans, friends, and fellow metalheads!
What a great weekend. Friday March 19th we played our hometown of Des Moines. Our eastern IA friends HAVOKKRIER came down again and assisted in laying waste to the House of Bricks. A great time was had by all. Thanks to CURSE OF HAIL for playing as well, you guys are great!!!!
Saturday March 20th saw us (and Havokkrier) head to Omaha for a 5 band show at Sokol Underground.
We had a great time in Omaha as usual. Thanks again to the Desire To Destroy guys for having us. We’ll see you here in Des Moines on June 4th at the House of Bricks!
On the home front we’ve been working on new material for our next release. We’ve got a half dozen or so ideas in various stages of completion. It’s shaping up to be a great album. We are looking forward to bringing a couple of these songs to the stage soon.
We have also been putting the finishing touches on the upcoming vinyl release of Portrait of Evil. It’s sure to be a must have for Dark Mirror fans! It will be a limited hand numbered release. 2009’s vinyl release of Visions of Pain has nearly sold out; only a few copies are left. Email us at info@darkmirroronline.com if you want to secure one. We can send a paypal funds request.
This coming weekend we will be playing in Des Moines at the Vaudeville Mews an ALL AGES show!
Come join US and enjoy an afternoon of Metal with Crusher of Souls (Iowa City, IA), Druids (Pella, IA) and our good friends Of Avalon (St. Paul, MN)

Next up on the schedule is 3/19, again in Des Moines, then 3/20 in Omaha NE. Anyone in the Omaha area reading this needs to clear their calendar for Sat 3/20. Head to the Sokol Underground for what guarantees to be an awesome show. Headlined by Omaha’s Desire To Destroy. We’ll see you there!

Yes! this has been the worst winter that Iowa has seen in over ten years. Yes! there has been over 50 inches of snow dropped on us this season, and Yes! it is cold.
But all is not quiet in the wolf’s den...
We have been hard at work on new material. New material that we cannot wait to unleash on our fans. We’re looking to raise the bar for Power/Thrash Metal in the Midwest.
We did it with Portrait of Evil, we’ll do it again with our next release, that is a promise seal with blood!
In the meantime we have our sights set on the road. We’re not finished supporting 2009’s Portrait of Evil. First up is a home town show at the House of Bricks in Des Moines. And we will likely have more dates set up very soon.
So stay tuned and...

Hello Fans and Friends,
As mother nature gives birth to winter the Dark Mirror camp is enveloped with snow and frigid winter temperatures. But inside the flames of metal burn hot. Just back from the eastern reaches of the state, Cedar Rapids and Waterloo, the band celebrates victory. Triumphing over anything that stood in the way of 2 great nights of metal. Fellow warriors and friends, Cur, Havokkrier, Dawn of Valor & Neutral Red assisting in the crusade.
The celebration, though sweet, will not last long. As on Friday the war is taken to the north. Across the border and into Minnesota we will go. Once again storming the walls of St. Paul and planting our flag at Station 4. Reminding anyone that may have misunderstood, this is a Dark Mirror town. Once the goods have been delivered in St Paul, we’re taking on Rochester MN. The Amsterdam Club will become ground zero for a metal show not to be missed.
So, rally the troops and gather with us. 2009 is coming to a close. Finish it off with a bang. Come out and see is. It’s a Howling good time!

The Midwest Assault continues: With 2 successful shows in IA completed we are taking the battle to the western front. 11/20 and 11/21 will see us in Omaha and Lincoln NE. Our friends in Desire to Destroy showed Des Moines a thing or 2 about metal, and now we are following them home to do the same.

Hello Dark Mirror fans,
A little update from the studio from Alonso:
“The recording of the new album is going very smoothly. Clint and Dustin have already laid down their tracks and let me tell you, they did an awesome job!
Marco and I will be doing our parts late this week. The title of the album has not yet been decided, but there is a tentative name which will be released soon.
The track listing for the CD is as follows in not specific order):
Forever Young, At the edge of Reality, Asylum, Unholy Crusade, Red Carpet, Through Oblivion, From the Ashes, Still Standing and Karma. There will be a surprise in this album. One more track will be included in the CD but more details about that to come soon. We will be posting snips of the recordings as they become available.
Regarding the Immortalized tracks on this upcoming release, we decided to include the songs from the E.P. in this album because the new members have been playing those since they joined the band and this gives an opportunity to put their own spin on the songs already recorded with previous members. They sound very interesting and I know that people will enjoy the new versions as much as they enjoy the old ones.
Pictures of the recording session will be posted in our official website soon.
Keep checking back for another update from the studio.” Dark Mirror.
